Your coffee or tea tastes “off”? Might be the limescale (Kalk) in your kettle!

We’ve all seen it – that white/yellow powdery layer in the bottom of the water cooker.

Scaling is caused by minerals such as magnesium and calcium in the water, which remain in the kettle after boiling. This build-up hardens & can be a pain to remove if left untreated. It might flake into your tea or food and also slows down the heating process of your kettle.

Getting rid of scaling is actually a no-brainer:

1. Pour 3/4 cup of plain white vinegar to the kettle full with water.

2. Boil the kettle several times until the bottom is clean.

3. Rinse thoroughly, boil the kettle again to ensure there’s no aftertaste.

And voila! Your kettle is sparkling. Enjoy
